OGI Systems - the leader company in the South African market is proud to announce its great success in sales during the Jewellex 2007 Show in Johannesburg since its major improvement of the new laser sawing machine among others novelties.
The tendency of the industry toward hi-tech improvements and new inventions is highly observed for the sole purpose of gaining time and yield in what ever the rough diamonds field is concerned.
"One of the big surprises during the Show was the demand of the good old OGI-Cut V2 bruiting machine of which we got more than 100 units order, and lately re-manufactured for the highly marked request", said Mr. BenJano, OGI’s CEO.
OGI has expanded with the creation of the new Sawcut Ltd Company under its umbrella with the intention of providing the market the new technology of the Green Diode-Pumped YAG lasers for sawing and cutting rough diamonds and that several units are being delivered to its clients at the moment. OGI expects to sell already more than 20 units, especially to the new license holders in Namibia and Botswana. The new members of staff under the management of Mr. Daniel BenJano - OGI Systems CEO and the manager of Sawcut Ltd. Ms. Eva Bar is aiming towards the manufacturers that are expanding in African countries as well as the market in the far east.
With the new laser performance the manufacturer can reassure the stability of the beam and hence the smooth and high performance saw of the diamond with low breakage and sawing lost than other competitors.
OGI also exposed the new features in the leading Ogi rough software, such as the multi-cut function, the best value function and the new features that can detect the inclusion in the diamond and accordingly create multi shapes in order to gain more yield of the stone. All of this with the OGI user friendly software as always.
